GATHERED SLEEVE TOP

The Gathered Sleeve Top is a boxy relaxed shape perfect for all seasons in suitable fabrics. Depending on your fabric choice you’ll have a chic evening top or a casual top to wear with jeans.

This pattern has 2 differing sleeve versions that are both illustrated in the booklet. Version A has a vertical drawstring channel to rush up with self fabric ties. Version B, a shorter gathered sleeve which creates a puffed shilouettte.

The Top shape itself is relaxed and oversized with a grown on dropped shoulder.

Other features of this style. There are splits in the side seam at the hem, and differing lengths at the front and back. You can close the side seams if you wish and make the front and back level easily.

GATHERED WRAP DRESS

This Wrap Dress has been ideal for me to wear over the past few months with me continuously changing shape during pregnancy. That being said this was intending to be a before, during and most importantly after dress to feel super comfortable and relaxed in. If you have more of an apple shape I recommend this pattern.

A boxy relaxed shape perfect for all seasons in suitable fabrics.

This pattern has 2 differing versions that are both illustrated in the booklet, with an option for two other styles, by mixing up the pieces, also explained . Version A is the Wrap version which uses self made ties to fasten, or Version B, a plain gathered skirt and single front bodice with no opening that you can simply chuck on over your head.

There are two different sleeve shapes, an on trend big Collar with your choice of including a Frill around the edge or not, or illuminating the Collar entirely completes the look.

TPC26//BIAS TSHIRT DRESS

Easy to wear must have that can be made as a casual or elegant occasion dress. The Bias T-Shirt Dress has a comfortable bias fit in the body, with fullness in the skirt giving a voluminous draped hem. And a casual looking T-Shirt sleeve shape. Similar to The Square Dress, the pieces are cut on the straight grain and sit on the body on the bias, therefore achieving it’s fit and flare silhouette.

This pattern is best used with a light to medium weight fabrics with a good bias (nothing too stiff that has no give on the bias). There is a keyhole in the back neck, so a small hook and eye is needed as a fastening here. The zip is sewn into a diagonal seam at the back starting under the arm so it’s very hidden, but don’t worry the seam is on the straight grain so easy to sew.

TPC25//PAPER BAG TROUSERS

Easy to wear with interesting details make for a must have trouser. The Paper Bag trouser look great dressed up with heals or worn casually.

This pattern is best used with a light weight fabric as there are a lot go layers around the waist. There is a faux fly in the front for added details, however the waist is elasticated with a tie needed to draw in tighter.

TPC22//RAGLAN DRESS

Our Raglan Dress has been designed by us after looking at the trends from the AW18 catwalks from New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks.

The high collar and tie at the back of the neck is a very on trend feature and also makes this pattern very easy to construct as it requires no fastening. Along with that the raglan sleeve and gathering at the front neck make this piece a very elegant style for all seasons not just Autumn Winter.

This is a combo pattern at a full dress length, which also features markings to cut a blouse length. The photo shoot only features the blouse length, the dress is 50cm longer. Please see size chart below for more sizing.

Our Dropped Shoulder Coat has been designed by us from looking at the trends from the AW18 catwalks from New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. The outerwear trend for capes and oversized shapes has returned, and that has inspired this silhouette.

This pattern is best used with a medium to heavy weight fabric, something that will hold the structure of the shoulder and sleeve shape. The side panel could be cut in a contrast colour or cut a short/cropped version to put your own unique spin on this pattern.

TPC20// SHIRT AND SHIRT DRESS

Shirting and especially patchwork or mismatched shirting is a popular street and catwalk trend for SS18. This is a combo pattern so there are shirt and shirt dress variations, with wide sleeves for a sharpe but casual silhouette. The dress has a drawstring at the waist giving a cinched in shape and the shirt has a drawstring on the hem making it casual and cool.

Make yours with pinstripe shirting and cut panels with horizontal and vertical lines to get the effect too.

The Drape Hem Skirt has been designed by taking inspiration from the catwalks trends seen in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. The ongoing asymmetric hem trend has evolved into handkerchief style skirts, attached to straight or pencil shapes. Our first skirt pattern is a perfect example of this trend.

This pattern is best made with a lightweight fabrics to allow the hem to drape and swish when you walk. We have made our sample in a red crepe, the colour of the season, as seen in the images below. Alternatively an abstract print or check would create an interesting on trend look.

Its really quick and easy to make also so you'll want one in every colour. Wear with a t-shirt for a smart casual look, or dress it up for the evening.

TPC16//SIDE DRAWSTRING DRESS

Drawstrings were a big feature on the SS17 catwalks, seen in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks, and made a lot of reappearances in the AW17 shows too, as well as a sporty, label trend. 

This dress is a great mixture of the two trends, as seen in our samples below, so is perfect for a casual daytime dress (made in jersey) or when made in something luxe you can morph the design to an evening look (made in Lame). When made in a patterned fabric the print will be distorted by the drawstring to make an interesting, unique look.

The construction is fairly simple and straight forward, however this dress goes together in an odd order than usual so follow the instructions. The pieces are large so you will need a lot of space to cut out.

TPC15// TUCK SLEEVE TOP

It's still the year of the sleeve, oversized shapes are still a key trend, seen again in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. This trend isn’t going away any time soon. This is our new design to keep you up with the trend and is inspired by catwalk looks.

As you can see with our samples, below, this design works well in both light and heavy weight fabrics, simple but effective. And great for a day time outfit or and evening smart casual look, transformed by the fabric you choose. The lightweight version allows the sleeve to drape, and the heavy weight shows the structure in the sleeve.

Although this top appears to be complex to make it isn’t. There is a gusset in the back sleeve/ armhole, but this is featured in detail in the instruction booklet.

TPC14//70s DRESS

The 70s are back. This dress is inspired by the recent collections by Gucci, who are making sure the trend comes back with a luxe bang. As well as other designers including Isabel Marant, the 70s Trend has featured across all the catwalks. 

A versatile annual pattern, with options to make shorter or sleeveless versions. This is a great dress for a party, and perfect if you’re going into warmer seasons, or worn with tights during the Autumn and Winter months.

Variations 

Demonstrated in our two differing samples, this dress can be made with a selection of variations. The Green floral version has been made to the full length with sleeves. The Lace version is sleeveless and a shorter length, made with two skirt panels rather than three. 

The possibilities are endless, you could lengthen or shorten the panels to change the skirt proportions to create an individual look. 

We have added extra frills to our floral sample for extra luxe glam appeal.

TPC12// UTILITY TROUSERS

The Utility Trousers have been designed by taking inspiration from the utility trend seen everywhere on the catwalk in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Combining an easy summer carrot leg silhouette, with a flattering fitted waist. 

This pattern is best made with a medium to heavy weight fabric such as cotton drill as seen in the images below. Alternatively, they would look great made in denim or similar.

Wear with the Trench jacket for a full Utility look, or alternatively with the pleated shoulder top as seen in our photoshoot images.

Variations 

The side front leg flap construction can be ignored, leaving the side panel plain. This pattern now had a patch pocket that can be added to your front leg. Instructions are included at the end of the booklet

TPC11//KNOT FRONT DRESS

Knots and ties constructed into garments are a big trend for summer. The Knot Dress is inspired by designer dresses seen on catwalks across New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks.

This pattern is best made with a lightweight cotton fabric for a great summer dress that is really easy to wear, throw on and look great. This multi size pattern come in sizes 6-22, UK, and has two back views. Version A has a discreet cut out in the back, while Version B has a full one piece back panel. Simple but with effective detail in the front, and, it has pockets!

The construction is really simple. Binding finishes off the edges of the top bodice and skirt.
